In addition to the professional development leaders need, this intimate program offers many opportunities for casual networking, and past participants attest that relationships forged here can last a lifetime.

Leadership Academy

In partnership with the Independent School Leadership M.Ed. Program at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development, the NBOA Leadership Academy is a one-year leadership development program designed for a select cohort of independent school business office professionals ready to gain the skills and organizational perspectives necessary to grow and advance as an independent school business leader.

Webinars

Hundreds of business officers, business operations staff and other independent school leaders gather online throughout the year for NBOA’s popular webinar series. Learn without leaving your desk!

Online Learning

Multi-week and on-demand courses conducted virtually on a variety of topics. The online platform allows for asynchronous learning and collaboration with other participants through different interactive media, including short videos and discussion boards.

"I value the amazing opportunity to meet with other professional who are facing the same issues as I am. Some of them have asked and answered the questions that I am just beginning to realize I have. It is great to learn from others challenges and see what routes they have taken to get where they are now. It was an opportunity to ask questions that I have to an impartial audience."
