In my many years of serving business officers, I hear one comment over and over: "No one at my school understands what I do!" Well, I'm here to tell you that NBOA does. In every educational event, through every post on our daily discussion forum, on every phone call, online in each webinar, and in every email, you will be connected to someone who understands the issues you face, and can exchange ideas or offer solutions to help you manage them.
NBOA represents the national voice of independent school business officers and advocates on behalf of all members of the profession. We are dedicated to providing timely and relevant information delivered through a variety of ways for your personal growth and the success of your school. In a remarkably short time, NBOA has grown from a small community of like-minded business officers to a thriving association with hundreds of members focused on sharing both knowledge and support. If you have been searching for a community of independent school business officer colleagues...it's waiting for you right here.
As a member of NBOA, you will receive a variety of tangible benefits, but perhaps the most significant one is "intangible"—a network of your peers. You will no longer feel as though you are working on an island—you will find mentors, friends, and colleagues who can provide you with helpful insight, motivate you, assist you, and support you throughout your independent school career. Our goal is to help you advance your school's mission by helping you achieve professional success!
Welcome to our community!
