Allen-Stevenson School

Read John's acceptance speech from the Annual Dinner in Chicago, IL.

John is the Associate Headmaster of the Allen-Stevenson School in New York City. During the last thirty-nine years at Allen-Stevenson, John has been a teacher of history, mathematics, science, English, computers, and reading, as well as Head of the Upper School and Assistant Headmaster for Finance and Administration. John has also served as Chairman of the Business Affairs Council of the New York State Association of Independent Schools; as President of the Assistant Heads Association; as a speaker at NAIS, CASE, and NYSAIS conferences; as a faculty member of NAIS Summer Institute for Finance and Administration; as a Chair of the Business Services Committee of NAIS; as a member of the Advisory Council of TIAA-CREF; as a founding member of NBOA; and as a Vice-President/Treasurer of ABOIS, to name just a few of his credentials and accomplishments. We are thrilled to honor him with this award.

John is a leader, a mentor, and one of the finest individuals I've had the privilege of knowing.
