NBOA and NACUBO are partnering to offer a program especially for independent schools (and small colleges) held in conjunction with the NACUBO Tax Forum. This program offers a concentrated time to participate in relevant tax programming—at an affordable rate with minimal time away from the office—exclusively for business office staff.

The program features an afternoon of special-topic sessions, including:

  • Managing and minimizing UBIT

  • Executive compensation challenges and tips

  • Treatment of fringe benefits, including faculty and presidential housing

  • Pitfalls and opportunities with the IRS Form 990

  • Managing tax compliance at small educational institutions

Thursday, November 3rd

Join the NACUBO Tax Forum for a selection of sessions (1:30-5 pm) on tax topics that will address challenges and offer solutions for tackling tax compliance and administration at your school.

Friday, November 4th

Participate in a networking breakfast exclusively for independent school business officers including an extensive Q&A session with a panel of tax attorneys specializing in nonprofit educational tax issues.

Registration includes:

  • Your choice among multiple sessions from the NACUBO Tax Forum program on the afternoon of Thursday, November 3rd

  • A networking refreshment break the afternoon of November 3rd

  • A networking breakfast and "Ask the Experts" Q&A on November 4th
