NBOA’s Strategic Leadership Forum is an opportunity for veteran business officers and their schools’ leadership teams to explore impending issues facing the independent school community. The 2011 Forum will delve into the strategic implications of the ever-changing role of technology—academic and operational—within independent schools. Issues such as the role of online and virtual education, content delivery, the use of mobile devices, the role of gaming, etc., will be explored.
The program is geared towards teams that include a business officer, head of school, and educational technologist (IT director, curriculum director, etc.). Using a blended learning experience of both live and distance learning, attendees will walk away with implementable ideas generated from collaborative thinking. This must-attend program is ideal for any school leader who needs to prepare for the strategic impact of technology on his or her school.
The 2012 Strategic Leadership Forum will be held November 4-6 in Chicago, IL. More detailed information will be posted here in summer 2012.
