2008 Symposium
February 25-27 • New York, NY • Crown Plaza Times Square Manhattan
NBOA's Annual Symposium is our largest and most varied professional development event, offering Business Officers the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with colleagues and with industry experts over the course of three days. Sessions range from keynote addresses designed to challenge, to in-depth three-hour seminars, to the ever-popular goldmines.
The 2008 Symposium was held in New York City on February 25-27. It was NBOA's 10 year anniversary, and our largest turnout to date! Over 450 business officers and colleagues converged in Times Square, and the reviews of the program have been outstanding:
"Your speakers clearly were wonderful lending much insight to ponder and just plain fun to watch! The camaraderie cannot be beat but would not happen if the program was any less. Thank you for covering all the details as well as the big picture!"
Annual Dinner
The conference concluded with an amazing dinner and party at the
Capitale. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of
George K. Baum & Company, Blackbaud, Hub International and Venable, this year's annual dinner was a spectacular affair. The highlight of the evening being the presentation of the
Kenneth A. White Jr. Distinguished Business Officer Award to
Cindy Stadulis, Business Manager at Princeton Day School.
Conference Blog
If you would like to read more about the conference, we wrote a great
blog reviewing each day.
