Stevenson School is a coeducational day and boarding school, with a Lower and Middle School campus in Carmel, CA and an Upper School campus in Pebble Beach, CA. We will be using the Rosen Student Center on Stevenson's Upper School campus for sessions, activities and free time.

Attendees will stay in Day Hall and Atwood Hall, Stevenson's newest dormitories. Men and women will be housed in separate wings of the dorms. You will share a bathroom with a small group, but you will have a private bedroom.

While the rooms are light and airy, they are dorm rooms and thus have limited comforts (bed, dresser, desk, closet, overhead light), so please plan accordingly. There are televisions, microwaves, and refrigerators in the common rooms in each dorm, and each dorm also has laundry facilities. Internet access will be available on campus throughout our stay. Participants will receive more details as we get closer to Summer Institute.

If traveling by air, you can fly into San Francisco International Airport, San Jose International Airport, or Monterey Airport. The Monterey Airport is closest to Stevenson School, about 20 minutes away, but it’s a small airport with limited flights. The San Jose airport is the next closest, about 90 minutes from Stevenson, but the San Francisco airport offers more direct flights, so you may want to compare flights at each airport.

Ground transportation to Stevenson School is available through Monterey Airbus. The fare is $30 per person one way from San Jose International Airport and $40 per person one way from San Francisco International Airport. There is an additional fee $20 per shuttle for direct service to Stevenson. This fee will be charged proportionally to each rider going to Stevenson (i.e. $10 each if 2 riders to Stevenson, $4 each if 5 riders to Stevenson).

Shuttles depart every 90 minutes. The first shuttle departs San Francisco International Airport at 6:45 a.m., departs San Jose International Airport at 7:30, and arrives at Stevenson at approximately 9:00 a.m. For the return trip, the first shuttle departs Stevenson at approximately 10:00 a.m., arrives at San Jose International Airport at 11:30 a.m., and arrives at San Francisco International Airport at 12:15 p.m. Detailed schedules are available at Monterey Airbus. If you fly into Monterey Airport, you must make shuttle arrangements by calling Monterey Airbus directly. We will provide more detailed information on shuttles as we get closer to the Summer Institute dates.

If traveling by car, the address of Stevenson’s Upper School campus is 3152 Forest Lake Road, Del Monte Forest, CA 93953 and directions are available at the Stevenson website. To avoid paying a fee at the Pebble Beach gate, please tell the gate attendant that you are attending a meeting at Stevenson School.

Rooms will be available starting Sunday, June 15 for those attending the New Business Officer Institute and Monday, June 16 for all others. Please plan to be at Stevenson for check-in no later than 9:00 p.m. If you cannot arrive by 9:00 p.m., please make alternate lodging arrangements for that night and check in at Stevenson School the next morning.
