The NBOA Symposium took place Monday, February 26 to Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at the Adam's Mark Hotel in downton Denver. It was a roaring success as we had over 300 participants during the course of the conference.
On Monday, there were 7 in-depth seminars for 20 people each. These sessions provided small groups of participants in-depth discussions on specific topics. Monday night was the Early Bird Welcome Reception sponsored by
George K. Baum & Company.
Tuesday was a full day of programming, with keynote speaker
David Goldsmith, tons of breakout sessions on a variety of topics, and a panel discussion. The reception on Tuesday night, sponsored by
Key Bank, was a great place to relax and mingle with colleagues.
Wednesday was our Members-Only Day which includes a full day of programming: goldmines, a keynote address by
Rushworth Kidder, the Member Lunch, and a multidisciplinary panel on disaster planning which was a perfect opportunity for other members of the school "team" to participate in an NBOA session. The conference concluded Wednesday night with the
Annual Dinner at Colorado Academy, sponsored by
Sodexho, where we honored
Jim Kirkpatrick the winner of the
Kenneth A. White Distinguished Business Officer Award.
Between sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday participants could browse our vendor hall featuring our Corporate Members, or spend time in the Hospitality Suite, where they could check their email and chat with colleagues. Check out the schedule below to see the actual sessions offered.
