This session will explore the inherent difficulties in managing internal investigations, including privacy concerns, confidentiality, the relationship and possible ongoing interaction between accuser and accused, retaliation, and the rumor mill.

Digital Natives and the Business Office

John Palfrey, Berkman Center at Harvard Law School
Crowd favorite John Palfrey will review practical topics such as fair use and copyright issues in independent schools and the potential for trouble when the law hasn't kept up with technology advances (think file-swapping and YouTube). This session will also provide more theoretical discussion of digital natives as students and their impact on schools.
