Three Things
Summer Institute Faculty
Throughout the week, attendees will be asked to submit the three best things and the three worst things they've experienced as independent school business officers. At the end of the week, the faculty will lead a discussion on these three things, so business officers can learn from each other's successes and failures.

Issues in Independent School Employment Law
Laurie Malkin, Schulte Roth and Zabel
In the old days, an independent school was seen as a family, and employment issues were handled accordingly. In an increasingly litigious society, these employment relationships are becoming less familial and more business-like. This session will explore current issues that business officers should be aware of, and discuss areas on which particular attention should be focused.
